Privacy notice

Template: have this reviewed by a lawyer for India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and DPDP Rules before relying on it.

Vibe is run by Gaurav Johari (johari.gaurav@gmail.com). Students are under 18, so we process their data only with verifiable consent from a parent or guardian.

What we collect

• Student: first name, last initial, age, a chosen emoji avatar, and an email address used to sign in (with a one-time code, or Google)
• Parent/guardian: name, email, and a record of their consent
• Course work: mission answers, app code, screenshots, help requests, and reactions on the class wall

What we don't do

• No advertising, no analytics or tracking scripts, no selling or sharing data. Fonts are served from our own server.
• No behavioural monitoring beyond course progress shown to the student, parent and teacher

Who sees what

• Class wall: classmates who are signed in see wins like "Aarav S. cleared Idea Island"
• Public: only apps that both the teacher and the parent approve, shown with first name and last initial

Your rights

A parent can withdraw consent at any time from the link in their consent email, and all of the student's data is then deleted, including any launched app. Email the teacher for a copy or a correction.

Third-party tools

Students use Google Gemini under their own Google account and Google's terms. Live classes run on Google Meet.
